unitii corp is a fast growing, dynamic real estate company, located in Calgary, Alberta, specializing in Development, Property Management & Investment. We are currently seeing a Maintenance Team Member to work at our properties in Calgary.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conducting routine inspections of premises and building equipment
• Performing preventative maintenance - light plumbing, electrical and carpentry including:
• In-suite & interior/exterior common area repair/upkeep
• Fixing leaks, clogged toilets, appliance repairs
• Suite turnover – getting units rent ready (i.e. install electrical outlets, light fixtures, door handles etc.)
• Remove debris
• Annual unit inspections
• Daily scheduled inspections
• Document supply levels, and report supply needs
• Ensure all supplies and equipment are stored properly and securely
• Applicable logbook entries (daily, weekly, and monthly entries)
• Overseeing contractors when professional repairs are necessary
• Diagnosing issues and correcting them and/or communicating with Regional Manager
• Painting and other related duties as necessary

Skills and Knowledge

• Proven maintenance experience
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools
• Ability to check repair manuals, or parts catalogs as necessary
• Ability to use common tools such as hammers, hoists, saws, drills, and wrenches
• Experience performing routine maintenance
• Strong organizational and follow up skills
• Professional presentation and attitude
• Ability to maintain focus while working individually
• Strong time management skills
